Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation is having a large, multi-site national event, and we’d like to invite you to our party in the Boston area. In general, we are celebrating together for a cure by hosting house parties in 50+ places while also streaming in a short Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation program. We’ll also have a short national Zoom allowing each site to say hi to the others.

In Boston, Chuck Korb is generously organizing a celebration for us at his home in Lynnfield on August 29th. It’s a tequila tasting/pool party with food & music.

More about the tasting: With his family originally hailing from the Jalisco region of Mexico, Chuck is a long-time tequila connoisseur who will share his knowledge of high-end tequila (aged 100% blue agave tequila) with those who are interested over a sampling of several varieties. Did you know that tequila is a sipping beverage? He would like to limit this experience to the first 50 who indicate on their registration that they’d like to participate. Chuck’s door will open at 2:30 and tequila tasting begins promptly at 3 pm.

Please don’t feel you need to drink tequila to join the party. There’s lots of other fun planned. Chuck’s place also has a pool, two hot tubs, lots of space to mingle, and a TV to view the Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation program. There will be Mexican food, other adult and soft beverages, and music.

Tickets are $35/each, but please remember this is also a fundraiser. You’ll have opportunities to give more during the event. Ticket sales will close on August 15th and you must have a ticket to attend. Please invite family or friends you think would enjoy the event and be interested in accelerating the cure for CCM. Register early – the party itself is limited to 100 attendees. We also expect attendees from local pharmaceutical companies (it would be amazing if they could hear patient experiences) and from Boston Children’s Hospital, a major sponsor.

You’ll receive Chuck’s full address after your ticket purchase here.
