Host an Event

Events are a great way to raise awareness and financially support the work of Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation - and they're fun!

Make a Difference: Host a Fundraising Event that Leaves a Lasting Impact!

“If you want good things to happen, you must be part of making them happen. A cure starts with us!” -Julie De Michiel, patient and board member

  .

We are a volunteer-driven organization that cannot be supported without the efforts of countless volunteers across the country who hold fundraising events in their communities to benefit the Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation.

Hosting an event is an important way you can support our efforts to fund research for better treatments and a cure, while also raising awareness about cavernous malformation. In addition, events provide an opportunity to bring our community together to share their experiences and support each other. Not only do events help to raise awareness and provide support, but they also play a critical role in fundraising for the Alliance.

By hosting a fundraiser, you can help raise funds to support research programs, clinical trials, and community outreach initiatives that are all aimed at improving the lives of those living with cavernous malformations. Members have organized runs, walks, beer and wine tastings, and wine auctions. They have organized golf tournaments, paint nights, and benefit concerts. They have sent letters to family and friends to request donations instead of birthday or anniversary gifts.  The sky’s the limit!

Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation uses Network for Good as a fundraising platform where you can create an online fundraiser.  You can customize it with the story of your involvement and send the link to family and friends.
