Saber Seminar

Summer
Boston, MA

The Saber Seminar, benefiting Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation, is a weekend seminar that brings together some of baseball’s top coaches, statisticians, scouts, doctors, and scientists.  Attendees delve deep into the game and discuss how science is blended with advanced baseball statistics and traditional scouting assessments to produce outstanding results for teams.

Organizers Chuck Korb, himself an Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation member, and Dan Brooks decided from the outset that Saber Seminar would be both educational and meaningful.  Because of their hard work and commitment, and the generosity of their participants, Alliance to Cure Cavernous Malformation has received over $125,000 since 2016. We are very grateful.

Please take the time to watch these videos from past Saber Seminars.

Ryan Westmoreland was considered one of the best prospects in baseball in 2010.  However, his career was limited by CCM which required two surgeries and countless hours of rehabilitation.

Chuck Korb, frisbee virtuoso and co-founder of Saber Seminar shares his CCM experience.
